This role sits within the central media team responsible for driving measurable business and brand outcomes. As a Media Manager, you will plan, execute and optimize multi-media integrated campaigns that drive attributable customer growth and brand equity — connecting media strategy to business results with precision and accountability.

Key job responsibilities

• Plan and optimize media campaigns with clear accountability to business (brand penetration and customer lifecycle progression) and brand metrics (awareness, consideration, preference)
• Manage overall media budgets and campaign calendar to maximize media-driven business impact across all channels/platforms
• Surface insights from campaign data to inform investment decision and forward looking strategies.
• Partner cross-functionally with brand, research analytics and creative/content teams to ensure media amplifies business priorities
• Contribute to experimentation roadmaps i.e. incrementality testing, attribution modeling, media mix optimization.

A day in the life

• Most of your time goes into planning, building and optimizing multi-media campaigns that drive brand penetration and enhance Amazon brand equity. You will be diving deep into campaign performance reports/dashboards — constantly connecting media spend to business outcomes.
• You'll work cross-functionally with category teams, creative partners and measurement analysts — bringing the media point of view to strategy conversations and telling the investment-to-impact story in weekly business reviews.
• Beyond execution, you'll run experiments and new channel pilots. You will challenge legacy plans and propose smarter ways to drive outcomes.
• You will also get opportunity to partner with product and engineering to improve our media tech stack and contribute to measurement framework design.

Basic qualifications

• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• 4+ years of Salesforce, Tableau, Vidyard, and Excel experience
• Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
• Master's degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with a major brand or entertainment company in project/production management
• Experience in e-commerce, start ups, advertising, commercial
• Experience using data visualization tools
