Work You’ll Do

As an Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the project, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of data-driven insights. You will combine data analysis with elements of data science, leveraging solid proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling. You will also use Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports, and may apply geospatial analysis using ArcGIS as needed. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, develop analytical solutions, and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Our Forensic, Discovery, & Financial Crime offering provides services to support anti-money laundering, discovery, business disputes and investigations. Protect brands from financial crime and other corporate misconduct, as well as enable government organizations with tradecraft & technology to combat emerging and evolving threats.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience in data science, statistics, or mathematics experience using R, Python, or other scripting language
• 2+ years creating data visualizations or reporting utilizing Power BI
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
• Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 4 days per week in Arlington, VA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

• Experience with ArcGIS

This compensation range is specific to {insert location} and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
