As a Group, Conference and Events (GCE) Administrator , you’re not just securing and coordinating group event bookings – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

This unique Hilton property based outside Burton upon Trent (DE13 9PD) is the home of the 28 English Football Teams while also offering the opportunity to work for the biggest player in global hospitality, Hilton.

Offering 228 contemporary bedrooms, complemented by a wonderful food and beverage offering including the relaxing Crossbar, Restaurant and Coffee Lounge which is proud to service Starbucks.  In addition we have high quality meeting and events space, Spa and top class fitness facilities surrounded by acers of Staffordshire countryside including 13 outdoor football pitches including a replica of the Wembley pitch.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Manage office administration, including creating menus, vouchers, brochures, updating information boards, and preparing hotel briefing documents.

  • Coordinate hotel event administration by reviewing event details, processing charges, producing invoices, and managing payments.

  • Oversee reservation management and provide administrative support for guest bookings and related enquiries.

  • Support business development activities through market research, cold calling, and assisting with new project initiatives.

  • Maintain the company's online presence by updating websites, managing social media content, responding to reviews, and updating third-party booking platforms.

  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities, including family trip planning, coordinating graphic design briefs, and supporting sales and promotional campaigns.
