About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our outbound sales team. The role will focus on building pipeline through proactive prospecting, engaging target accounts, qualifying opportunities, and creating meaningful conversations with potential customers.

This is a high-activity, outbound-focused role for someone who enjoys prospecting, is comfortable picking up the phone, and can engage prospects effectively across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive outbound prospecting across target accounts and personas through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Research accounts and identify relevant decision-makers and influencers.
• Manage and follow up on inbound leads, qualifying them based on business need, fit, and buying intent.
• Execute structured email and calling sequences to generate meetings and sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Personalize outreach based on account research, industry, business challenges, and relevant use cases.
• Work closely with Account Executives to qualify and hand over sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline information in the CRM.
• Track outreach performance and continuously improve messaging, targeting, and conversion rates.
• Stay updated on target markets, industries, competitors, and customer pain points

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, outbound sales, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
• Strong cold calling, email outreach, and social selling skills.
• Experience prospecting into mid-market and/or enterprise accounts.
• Strong understanding of account research, persona mapping, ABM, and multi-threading.
• Experience working with Account Executives to create and progress qualified opportunities.
• Proficiency with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to improve prospecting outcomes.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly self-motivated with strong ownership and a consistent hunter mentality.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
