What you’ll do

• Assist in overseeing and maintaining the production processes within the Microscopy Department
• Manage preparation tasks of coupons for analysis, including coating, cleaving, mounting of samples
• Review instruction documentation to confirm analysis locations and specifications
• Act as a liaison between the Microscopy Operations and Production Control teams
• Provide feedback on systems and work towards continuous improvement
• Foster a healthy and inclusive work environment
• Maintain professionalism and cordial working relationships
• Adhere to Lam’s “Core Values” and strict focus on Customer IP Protection

Who we’re looking for

• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Adaptive, quick learner, and flexible
• Ability to be extremely detail oriented, patient, organized, accountable, and work well in a team environment
• Ability to lift ~25 lbs
• Fluent English

Preferred qualifications

• Customer service or sales experience is a plus
• Experience in a laboratory setting (chemical, medical, cleanroom, etc…)
• Experience in cleaving Si <100> and <110> wafer/dies
• Experience creating SOPs or similar guiding documents for professional use
• Experience in a Quality Control role
• Experience either leading or being part of the roll out of new professional initiatives

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $23.56 -  $46.63.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
