A Bellboy is responsible for transferring and storing guest luggage and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

What will I be doing?

As a Bellboy, you will be responsible for transferring and storing guest luggage and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Assist guests with their luggage during the check-in and check-out processes.

• Receive, transport, and safely store guests’ luggage.

• Provide guests with information about their rooms and room features.

• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple guest requests during busy periods.

• Maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction and provide professional solutions to guest complaints when necessary.

• Respond to guest questions and requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

• Ensure the security of guests’ personal belongings and verify that they are returned to the correct guest.

• Communicate guests’ special requests to the relevant departments promptly and accurately.

• Organize and store luggage in accordance with established procedures.

• Assist guests with taxi, private vehicle, and other transportation arrangements.

• Help maintain the lobby, entrance, and luggage areas in a clean, organized, and guest-ready condition.

• Assist with the maintenance, cleanliness, and proper functioning of equipment.

• Comply with the hotel’s service standards, safety regulations, and occupational health and safety procedures.

Bellboy serving Hilton Brand hotels are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• Guest-oriented with excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality or guest services.

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and respond promptly to their different needs.

• Good command of Turkish and English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shift-based working schedules.

• Physically fit and able to perform active duties, including handling and carrying luggage.

• Strong team player with a collaborative and cooperative approach.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions in challenging or crisis situations.
