What you’ll do:

Job Summary

Responsible for providing support to manufacturing and welding operations, developing manufacturing work instructions, conducting PFMEA activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing capital projects.

Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Identify necessary requirements and tooling to increase productivity
• Support the design and development of fixtures for assembly
• Participate in the preventive maintenance program.
• Development of Auto CAD drawings
• Assist in the completion of reports, graphs and other manufacturing documents
• Know ECO's procedures and deploy production documents.
• Coordinate needs for new transfers for successful implementation
• Provide input to improve their work.
• Zero accidents.
• Meet the training courses assigned to the training system, according to the functions performed.
• The incumbent will have the responsibility to implement these functions and other activities as assigned by his manager.
• To set up the all appropriated appointments and meeting for meet committed dates in project ejection and implementations
• To establish open communication with design centers for project definitions and support
• Elaborate bi-weekly summary of projects and engineering metrics
• Support Engineering Manager in the analysis of all Welding specs

Qualifications:

• Education level required    
  Bachelor of Mechanical, Industrial,  Engineering degree is required or related. 
  
  Years and area of experience required    
  5 to 7 years of previous experience in manufacturing 
• Experience working with machining and welding processes in a manufacturing environment
• Fully bilingual (Spanish/English)

Technical knowledge
Must show proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication, machining and casting drawings, - ANSI and ASME knowledge, ProLaunch knowledge, - Autocad, Pro E -  knowledge
