Procurement Buyer I (Maternity Cover) (m/f/d)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials required for production and business operations. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will help maintain supply continuity, monitor purchase orders, and support the smooth execution of procurement processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• responsibility for material supply: issuing, checking, and tracking purchase orders according to SAP requirements, checking order confirmations (price, delivery date), confirming orders in SAP, organizing transport, supporting material receipt. confirming delivery notes, sending forecasts
• coordinating purchase orders according to the system, daily communication with suppliers regarding delivery dates,
• cooperating with the finance department on invoicing, and with the quality department
• participating in Tier 2, Tier 3 meetings
• supporting problem-solving and escalation processes

Qualifications

• min. high school with a school-leaving exam
Language skills:
• English - Upper-intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills:
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Good knowledge of SAP (MM module) and SAP Ariba is a plus
• Active knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Practical and structured approach, independent work style
• High service orientation and ability to work under pressure
• Proactive and creative approach
