As a Maintenance Manager for Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch you're not just looking after the maintenance functions of the hotel - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Responsibilities
What are we looking for?
A Maintenance Manager within Hilton brands demonstrates technical expertise, calm authority, and an uncompromising commitment to safety and service excellence. To succeed in this role, you will bring the following attributes, skills, and experience:
- Advanced knowledge of building engineering systems and facilities management
- A positive, proactive, and solution‑focused approach
- Clear and professional communication skills
- A strong commitment to delivering a seamless and safe guest experience
- Impeccable grooming and professional presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving operational demands and emergency situations
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Confidence working independently while exercising sound judgement
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management engineering role
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- First Aid certification
- Vocational qualification or formal training in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
