MRC is an important customer engagement arm in the Marketing organization. Our mission is to learn from customers, understand their needs, and educate them about the benefits of AWS and all the services we offer, in order to help them embark on their cloud journey quickly and easily. It is a critical function within the lead and demand generation process, with the objective to profile, nurture, and qualify marketing leads generated from various marketing events, campaigns, and activities.

We are looking for a result-oriented, customer-focused and creative individual with highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills to join the Global MRC team based in Bengaluru, INDIA to engage with new and prospective AWS customers in INDIA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work as part of the global MRC team to:

Help customers and prospects increase their understanding of the AWS cloud and its portfolio so they can get started, advance or continue their cloud journey
Nurture customers´ interest through providing targeted content via phone and email in order to shift their interest from warm or little to active; education to consideration
Build a stronger AWS leads database by researching, updating and maintaining customer information within Salesforce
Help drive operational excellence and optimize customer experiences
Manage incoming leads in a timely manner
Drive lead opportunity conversion rates through profiling and nurture efforts
Lead industry-specific conversations over the phone to qualify and identify business opportunities
Identify customers´ pain points, capture their need for cloud technology
Offer adequate solutions, including introduction of AWS colleagues and partners, or content, including specific use cases, customer references, event recommendations etc.
Provide Demand Generation/ Account Management team with detailed call notes to ensure a business opportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined
Lead the industry/segment-specific programs and stakeholder conversations to share customer feedback and improve campaign efficiency
Identify existing knowledge gaps of customers and recommend next steps to improve the customer experience to the MRC team and other relevant stakeholders
Work closely with Demand Generation, Business Development and Marketing to achieve campaign goals
Work closely with our partner community to nurture jointly captured leads and perform occasional call blitzes to identify new business opportunities

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Knowledge of email best practices and a/b testing methodologies within Marketo
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
• Have an available online portfolio
• 2+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience, or MBA
• 1+ years of using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool experience
• Experience using customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers and dive deep

Preferred qualifications

• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
• BS degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent, or 1+ years of technical work experience
• Experience and record of success in an outbound account management or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution/technology-related environment
• Experience using Salesforce.com at an advanced level including the development of dashboards and reports, programing experience
• Experience with, and detailed knowledge of the support market and insights related to cloud computing and IT
• Experience in clear and precise writing
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
• Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
• Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast-moving environment
• Travel up to 5-20% of the time regularly throughout the assigned region and internationally
