Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Technical Communication, Professional Writing, English, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Writer-related occupation. Position requires 4 years of experience in the following: Writing accurate, clear, concise, and well-organized technical content (developer documentation, Computer Science course material, or IT administration playbooks) using industry-standard style guides; Content plan development for technical content, including defining content goals and selecting formats (text, illustration, screenshot, voice, video); Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand technologies, extract user-required information, and iterate on content drafts within an Agile development environment; Applying general technical concepts to analyze problems and communicate technical information by interpreting source code (Java, Python, or Go), architectural diagrams, and engineering design docs; Leading content creation projects, including scoping work, guiding team members, and communicating project status.
