Process Assistants form an integral part of Amazon Middle Mile operations, contributing significantly to the team's dynamic growth. Process Assistants are responsible for daily management of department duties including: allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, providing work direction and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace by following Safety SOPs ensuring the well-being of all personnel and the integrity of Amazon operations
• Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties etc
• Support associates to deliver great service and supervise them in their daily tasks
• Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and provide important shift information to front-line management to ensure operational excellence across shifts
• Support the Shift/Area Manager with projects to improve processes, cultivate a safe working environment, and increase workforce engagement
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
• Understand workflow and daily production goals
• Ensure successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area, and participate in safety initiatives
• Coach associates on ways to work safely at all times
• Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance
• Provide coverage for Shift Managers

Basic qualifications

- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred qualifications

- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
