US Strategy, Deloitte US’s internal corporate strategy team, solves some of the biggest problems and accelerates strategic change for the Deloitte US firm in the same way we do for our clients. We help Deloitte US Firm leadership set the long-term direction for the US Firm, its businesses, and enterprise-wide capabilities by applying an integrated, strategic approach to the firm’s most complex, high-impact issues and opportunities. The Internal Strategy Summer Associate will work as a team member in executing corporate strategy projects focused on growth, risk, and operations across the Deloitte US firm. Projects could include any of Deloitte's three specific functional businesses: Audit and Assurance, Tax, and Consulting Services, or may also be focused on new services and businesses, channels (e.g., clients, industry sectors, geographies) or services that cross functional business lines.

The Summer Associate will interact with senior leaders in the company and will assist in various special, top priority projects with potential to significantly impact our organization.

Work you’ll do

As a Summer Associate, you will have a variety of internal client-facing responsibilities including:

• Researching/ building analytical frameworks and conducting complex business analysis
• Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market sizing and competitive analysis
• Collaborating and developing effective working relationships with diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
• Developing executive level presentations and reports

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2028, pursuing an MBA or a related/equivalent program
• 3+ years of full-time work experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Availability to participate full-time for an 8-10-week internship from June to August 2027, onsite at our 30 Rock office in New York City
• The start date for this position will be June 2027
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
• You must reside within a commutable distance (e.g., 100‑mile radius) by your start date and be able to commute daily, if required.
• Ability to attend all in-person core programming sessions

This compensation range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $3,365/ week.
