The primary responsibility of this role is to perform various tasks related to the publishing or the assessment and enhancement of the quality of the content available in the Amazon Prime Video catalogue, by using advanced knowledge in Danish language. The day to day job requires the individual to make quality-focused decisions by following a standard operating procedure.

Please note that this is a Madrid office-based role.

Key job responsibilities
* You will apply knowledge of Danish language and execute standard, small-scale projects or assigned components of a larger project to improve processes, using tools or reporting to achieve quality metrics or improvements.
* You will manage escalation on routine/predefined tasks.
* You will create or fix media assets such as subtitle, audio, metadata or artwork with high quality.

About the team
The Prime Video Localization Operations team partners with a wide range of stakeholders across the Prime Video teams to oversee asset deliveries, system processing and assembly, and on-time, defect free, and complete content publishing to Prime Video’s global audience. We focus on ensuring that every search, discovery and playback interaction with Prime Video is device agnostic, defect free and results in a high engagement experience for Customers. Therefore, the Prime Video Localization Operations organization plays an essential role at Prime Video, ensuring that the content that powers our vision to be the premier source of global entertainment, is complete and correct.

Basic qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Fluency in Danish language with understanding of region-specific jargon/colloquialism (level C1).

Preferred qualifications

• Educational background in foreign languages, translation studies or linguistics (or equivalent professional experience in localization or subtitling).
• Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and provide insights while working with creative content.
• Understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain.
• Experience in Post house/Studios industry in the content publishing or quality management domain.
