Lead Business Ops Mgr

We deliver experiences to consumers through Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Lines, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business, as well as other initiatives such as Hey, Disney!

The Lead Business Operations Analyst is a seasoned subject matter expert who drives operational excellence across Disney Experiences by translating complex business needs into clear, actionable insights and plans. In this lead role, you will connect data, processes, and people to support technology-enabled initiatives that enhance guest and consumer experiences across theme parks, resorts, cruise, retail, and other lines of business. You will serve as a trusted partner to leaders and teams, ensuring decisions are grounded in robust analysis and aligned with strategic priorities.

Manages and oversees all aspects of a program to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverable. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of program.

What You’ll Do

• Manages activities related to the organization’s strategic plans including analyzing data, driving operational reviews in support of business’ medium/long-term planning, liaising between the senior executives and broader organization and ensuring stakeholder buy-in through a design-centric approach, working cross-functionally across teams, developing goals, executing strategic initiatives, policy design, and optimizing and integrating business processes.   

• May encompass design strategy in budgeting and logistics responsibilities where needed.  

• Leads change management and ensure business readiness, minimizing disruption.   

• Develops deep business domain expertise and may identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure/technology support, etc.   

• Role typically serves as key partner between the technology leader and the organization to shape and deliver technology needs ensuring business value is captured, recognized & optimized.   

• Deliver results in the form of operational instruction, project plans, dashboards. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, project management or related field. 

• Comfortable experimenting with and adopting AI tools to continuously improve efficiency, effectiveness, and ways of working. 

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to connect analysis to enterprise priorities. 

• Proven ability to synthesize complex, cross-functional information into actionable insights for executive and senior stakeholders. 

• Experience developing frameworks, narratives, and visuals that influence senior leaders and drive alignment. 

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. 

• Experience improving broad sweeping processes with multiple key stakeholders and varying criteria.  

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills — proven ability to transform complex analysis into clear, engaging presentations for executives. 

• Background in Technology or experience working closely with financial & strategy teams. 

• Familiarity with project management methodologies including tools such as JIRA and Confluence. 

• Experience with AI (e.g., Cursor, Claude) and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate). 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Data Analytics, or related field. 

Preferred Education

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, related field or equivalent work experience. 

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $117,800.00-$161,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
