Join Global Screening Operations and apply your judgment and analytical skills to help protect clients and the firm. In this role, you will investigate screening alerts, gather evidence across multiple systems, and support timely escalation for further review. You will work in a fast-paced environment with clear quality and throughput expectations and a strong controls mindset.

As a Client Operations Specialist IV in Client Screening (Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV - Central Screening Utility), you review client and entity information and investigate alerts generated from screening against sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP) indicators, negative media, and internal lists. You perform Level 1 investigations, document evidence and rationale, and escalate potential matches to Level 2 teams for further review. You also support sanctions-related screening activities for payments and SWIFT messages in line with established policies and procedures.

Job responsibilities

• Conduct Level 1 screening investigations using multiple internal and external applications to search, gather data, and record evidence.
• Analyze and investigate alerts using standard policies, procedures, and tools.
• Determine whether an alert is a potential match to a client/entity and escalate appropriate cases to Level 2 teams.
• Substantiate dispositions with clear rationale and complete documentation/evidence trails.
• Maintain individual and team throughput and quality targets in a performance-driven environment.
• Screen payments and SWIFT messages (inbound/outbound) in accordance with sanctions screening policies and procedures.
• Identify suspect transactions and escalate them for timely resolution via defined channels.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of operational changes with a strong controls mindset.

• Collaborate effectively with teammates and partner teams to support end-to-end case progression.

   

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in client screening, Know Your Customer, or related compliance operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively within a team and across departments.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical ability and critical thinking; able to identify issues accurately and propose solutions.
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated control mindset and consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts (day/night) and weekends/holidays based on business needs.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience supporting sanctions screening and/or payments and SWIFT message screening workflows.
• Familiarity with negative media and politically exposed person (PEP) screening concepts.

• Work Schedule: 5:00AM-2:00 PM MNL Time (schedule may vary depending on business need).
