Job Summary:

Act as the Country Manager's commercial deputy: build and lead the market's end-to-end commercial plan, turning BU strategy into executable, local initiatives that drive revenue, merchant growth, and customer adoption.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Design and define the portfolio strategy for an identified country, supporting the execution of local product priorities, and analyzing and interpreting product performance.
• Implement hands-on execution coordination of local and global cross functional initiatives.
• Manage process escalations to remove obstacles for the strategy execution while proposing and supporting change implementation to strategy
• Collaborate and define priorities based on global commercial product strategy
• Research new opportunities and establish and negotiate new partnerships
• Engage with ongoing partners regularly, improving relationships and operational efficiencies
• Direct, set, and define customized market/regional specific product and technology strategies
• Manage stakeholder relationships and oversee the delivery of key product and platform infrastructures
• Set strategic direction and roadmap to enhance product experience and business metrics

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the market commercial plan. Translate BU strategy into a market plan with financial targets, in partnership with the Country Manager. Partner with local Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to define initiatives, value cases, and delivery timelines (e.g., an annual market plan covering key merchants, approved launches, and marketing investment). Ensure every initiative has a business owner, timeline, expected impact, dependencies, and KPIs.
• Lead and govern market execution. Serve as the Country Manager's key execution partner, driving cross-functional delivery of deals and product launches and pressure-testing launch readiness. Ensure initiatives remain on schedule and proactively remove execution blockers.
• Recommend commercial trade-offs. Evaluate competing initiatives and surface risks and opportunities to the BUs, recommend reallocating resources within budget, and escalate issues the market can't resolve alone.
• Be the voice of the market. Provide structured feedback to Central GTM and BUs on merchant, consumer, and sales signals; turn that feedback into insights for BUs and Central GTM; and run the local pipeline and performance cadence.

The market's Country Manager, local Product / Marketing / Sales, GROE, Central GTM, and BU leadership (via the escalation path).

What You'll Bring

• 6–9+ years in Commercial, GTM, revenue strategy, or sales leadership
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives without formal authority; ability to balance strategic planning with execution
• Strong commercial planning and financial acumen
• Experience in payments, fintech, or digital commerce preferred
• Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
• Sound judgment on when to resolve locally vs. escalate
