Now Brewing – Senior Brand Manager! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and rich traditions, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a Senior Brand Manager supporting the Roastery business, you will lead the integrated brand, customer experience, and category agenda across the U.S. Roasteries. This role is responsible for bringing the Starbucks Roastery brand to life through coffee, merchandise, food and beverage innovation, digital storytelling, events and experiences, partnerships, and customer-facing marketing initiatives that drive engagement, business performance, and brand affinity.

Leading a team that includes Manager, Digital Brand; Manager, Category, Food,  Beverage and Merchandise; and Program Manager, Events & Experiences, you will ensure initiatives are aligned, prioritized, and executed with excellence across the Roastery ecosystem. You will serve as a key member of the U.S. Roastery leadership team, working cross-functionally to translate business objectives into distinctive customer experiences that strengthen the Starbucks Roastery brand and support business growth.

This role also partners closely with the Milan Roastery brand team, helping ensure alignment with the broader Starbucks Roastery brand vision while adapting programs, campaigns, products, and experiences to meet the needs of the U.S. market.

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will:

  • Lead the U.S. Roastery brand and customer experience agenda – Develop and oversee annual and seasonal plans that connect food and beverage innovation, merchandise, digital marketing, events, partnerships, and customer experiences to support business objectives and strengthen the Starbucks Roastery brand.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team – Provide leadership, coaching, and direction for the Digital Brand, Food, Beverage and merchandise Category, and Events & Experiences teams, ensuring priorities are aligned and resources are focused on the highest-impact opportunities.

  • Bring campaigns and experiences to life – Lead the planning and execution of product launches, seasonal activations, coffee introductions, events, tours, partnerships, and experiential programming across U.S. Roastery locations.

  • Drive operational excellence – Ensure initiatives move efficiently from concept to implementation through strong planning, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, budget management, and execution discipline. Remove barriers and establish processes that enable teams to deliver with excellence.

  • Leverage insights to improve performance – Utilize customer insights, market trends, category performance, and campaign results to identify opportunities, evaluate effectiveness, and optimize future initiatives.

  • Build strategic partnerships – Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies, and suppliers to enhance customer engagement and support business objectives. Collaborate closely with the Milan Roastery team and global Starbucks Roastery partners to share learnings and advance the Starbucks brand.

  • Manage business and brand performance – Support annual planning processes, establish goals and performance measures, and ensure investments, resources, and initiatives deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Passionate about brand building and creating memorable customer experiences

  • Strong people leaders who develop talent and build high-performing teams

  • Skilled at translating vision into action and execution

  • Effective at influencing and collaborating across a highly matrixed organization

  • Commercially minded and data-informed in decision making

  • Comfortable balancing long-term priorities with day-to-day business needs

  • Adaptable leaders who thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments

We'd love to hear from people with:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand management, category management, customer experience, marketing, hospitality, retail, consumer packaged goods, or related fields

  • Experience leading integrated marketing, customer experience, category, or commercial functions

  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams

  • Experience bringing campaigns, product launches, events, and customer-facing initiatives from concept through execution

  • Strong understanding of brand management, customer engagement, category management, and commercial planning

  • Experience developing integrated business plans, managing budgets, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to influence across functions and drive alignment in a matrixed organization

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field required

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. Partners have access to short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, paid vacation from date of hire*, sick time (accrued at 1 hour for every 25 hours worked), eight paid holidays, and two personal days per year. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

We believe we do our best work when we're together, which is why we're onsite four days a week.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 421 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
