Job description

We are looking for a customer-obsessed Segmentation Analyst to join a dynamic team that is responsible for the timely and effective resolution of customer issues and questions related to sales planning cycles and revenue routing corrections. In this role, the Segmentation Analyst will triage and resolve inbound customer tickets and execute on monthly operational processes to support key data hygiene initiatives. The role demands the Segmentation Analyst exhibit customer obsession by truly understanding what customers are trying to accomplish, bias for action in order to answer and complete customer tickets in a timely manner, and earn trust by not just effectively completing requests in tickets, but also in upholding processes and policy related to actioning tickets.

A Segmentation Analyst engages with a wide range of roles and levels within the SMGS organization including Field Sales Operations (FSOs), Territory Managers (TMs), Account Managers (AMs) as well as SMGS Ops resources in the Revenue, Atlas, and Planning Tools teams. A successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills to ensure they understand the request, can question to clarify, and smoothly hand off an issue to another team if required. They will be responsible for upholding sales planning policy, which means they must insist on the highest standards for submissions (i.e., gathering all relevant information and approvals).

The Segmentation Analyst may also engage in project-based work to support initiatives specific to SegOps and the broader SPC team. These could include process improvements and documentation for SegOps Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or developing metrics and analytics for SegOps processes, as well as supporting the planning and execution of key planning phases or activities.

Key job responsibilities

  • Complete customer tickets on time and accurately
  • Execute monthly data hygiene activities as assigned on time and accurately
  • Own project-based work relating to operational excellence and/or the overall planning process
  • Provide operational support to SPC program, policy, and enablement teams
  • Effectively engage with other support resources across SMGS Ops and within stakeholder Business Units (BUs) on the timely execution of customer inquiries

A day in the life

Your morning starts by preparing for the team sync and organizing your day. That looks like triaging inbound tickets, then digging in to resolve customer questions on sales planning, revenue routing, and more. You partner with many groups, roles, and stakeholders to clarify requests and move them forward. You carry out monthly data hygiene tasks and uphold sales planning policy, insisting on complete information and approvals before taking action. Once ticketing is under control, you may find yourself in a variety of projects and deep dives. No two days look alike.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 317 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
