The GMP is responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance with Quality Management System requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety standards across operations. This role focuses on monitoring operational standards, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining compliance documentation, and promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

Monitor and verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and quality procedures.

• Conduct routine inspections, audits, and follow-up activities to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and track improvement plans through completion.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in training team members on GMP, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure adherence to company policies and quality requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key quality indicators and provide timely reporting to management.
• Promote a culture of food safety, quality awareness, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement: Associate Degree / Technologist in Food Quality, Food Production, or a related field.
• Previous experience performing duties related to quality assurance, GMP compliance, food safety, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety regulations, auditing processes, and operational standards.
• Ability to conduct inspections, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, hospitality, or food service operations.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety programs.
• Experience supporting internal or external quality audits.
