The AWS ISCaP ASC (Amazon Subtier Components) team is seeking for a results-oriented Senior Global Supply Manager to own supply management for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) that go into server racks for our global datacenter network. The role will manage internal stakeholders as well as supplier relationships to ensure support on continuity of supply, lifecycle management, key programs, process improvement, contracts, and technical needs. The ideal candidate will deliver operational excellence with a focus on hardware demand/supply optimization. This individual must be a high energy, high impact individual with demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic business environment. Successful candidates will build long lasting, strategic partnerships, be well organized with strong communication skills to position themselves and AWS for continued success. The ideal candidate will raise the bar on driving schedules and deep diving into data, actively participates with a strong curiosity to understand the business end-to-end, and has a track record of delivering strong results.

This role leads supply management for interconnect or EE components. The ideal candidate will deliver operational excellence with a focus on hardware demand/supply optimization. This individual must be a high-energy, high-impact individual with demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities
1. Clear-to-Build (CTB) & Shortage Resolution Own and drive CTB tracking for critical components; lead shortage resolution by identifying root causes, developing mitigation plans, and coordinating across multi-tier suppliers and internal stakeholders to unblock production; engage suppliers to expedite, reallocate, or pull-in supply to close gaps; validate demand signals and communicate risk exposure and recovery plans to leadership with clarity and urgency.

2. Inventory & Buffer Strategy Design and manage supply buffer strategies (safety stock, strategic inventory, VMI) to build resiliency without driving excess; define buffer targets based on lead time variability, demand volatility, and supply risk profiles; manage allocation of on-hand and in-transit inventory to highest-priority demands across VMI sites; monitor inventory health metrics (WOS and excess/obsolescence) and partner with Finance and Operations to align buffer investment with business risk tolerance and cost targets.

3. Spot Market Buy Identify and evaluate spot market opportunities to bridge supply gaps; maintain a vetted network of authorized brokers and enforce compliance with quality and authenticity standards; lead spot buy negotiations for competitive pricing while managing counterfeit risk; define governance processes including approval thresholds and traceability requirements; track cost premiums and risk exposure while analyzing market dynamics to proactively position before shortages materialize.

4. Lead Time Reduction Analyze end-to-end lead time drivers — including raw material pre-positioning, line balance, and manufacturing process optimization — to structurally reduce effective lead times; hub/consignment arrangements;

5. Travel Up to 50% on site in suppliers’ international locations.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
• 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
• Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
