A well-established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support its day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys variety, working closely with leadership, and contributing beyond traditional bookkeeping responsibilities.

The Bookkeeper will manage core accounting activities across AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a smaller-company environment, enjoys taking ownership, and can comfortably shift between accounting responsibilities and operational projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, and general ledger activity

Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close

Prepare financial reports and assist with financial and operational analysis

Maintain accurate accounting records and resolve discrepancies

Partner with leadership on special projects and process improvements

Help strengthen accounting procedures and internal controls

Support additional accounting and operational needs as the business evolves

Qualifications

Strong hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience

Solid general ledger knowledge with experience in AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close

Manufacturing and/or distribution industry experience required

Small to mid-sized, privately held company experience strongly preferred

Working knowledge of Excel; ERP experience is a plus

Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
