DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer who is motivated by mission impact and ready to support some of the most critical systems in the space domain. In this role, you’ll work at the heart of ground system architectures that enables space operations, data flow, and real‑time decision‑making when precision and reliability are non‑negotiable.

You’ll take the lead in modernizing and improving existing architectures, designing automation, deployment pipelines, and resilient infrastructure that strengthen the performance and mission systems. Your work will directly influence how ground systems evolve to meet emerging challenges across the space domain.

You Have:

• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes or Docker

• Experience working with CSP tools such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle

• Experience developing, managing, and securing containers

• Experience with back end programming languages, including Java or Python

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience operating within an Agile environment

• Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

• Master’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
