Be a Vital Link in Healthcare Excellence Vail Health is looking for an organized and motivated Inventory Specialist to help ensure that our clinical teams have the right supplies at the right time. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to support frontline care and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters—this is the role for you. This position is Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. What You’ll Do As an Inventory Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our Supply Chain team. Your day-to-day work helps clinical teams focus on patient care by making sure supplies and equipment are accurate, available, and ready when needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through restocking, cycle counting, and inventory control for assigned areas.
• Review supply needs, prevent overstocking, and help ensure efficient product turnover.
• Conduct physical counts and investigate inventory discrepancies—updating systems as needed.
• Process supply deliveries by verifying quantities, expiration dates, and physical condition.
• Respond to supply and equipment requests—both routine and urgent—with prompt, professional service.
• Inspect equipment and supplies for expiration, recalls, or defects, and report any issues.
• Help manage bi-annual physical inventories and assist with reporting for supply tracking.
• Keep all supply areas clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout daily operations.
• Propose new ideas and assist with department initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all work.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in healthcare, supply chain, or materials management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.
• Must be able to learn and use computers and digital systems within 90 days of hire.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.

Hourly Pay:$20.67—$24.37 USD
