Job description

About Pinterest:

Millions of people around the world come to our platform to find creative ideas, dream about new possibilities and plan for memories that will last a lifetime. At Pinterest, we’re on a mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love, and that starts with the people behind the product.

Discover a career where you ignite innovation for millions, transform passion into growth opportunities, celebrate each other’s unique experiences and embrace the flexibility to do your best work. Creating a career you love? It’s Possible.

At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.

Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.

As a Sr Client Account Manager, you will be in charge of driving a sophisticated book of business featuring some of the largest advertisers at Pinterest. You’ll work directly with some of our key advertisers as a trusted consultant to their business. Your strategic advice, analytical skills and sales skills are core to bringing to life the value we deliver as a platform.

In this role, you will help Financial Services advertisers translate inspiration into measurable business outcomes, connecting consumers from discovery to purchase in moments of high intent. You’ll partner with brands navigating performance goals such as efficient customer acquisition, catalog sales growth, and omnichannel conversion strategies, while helping them unlock the unique value of Pinterest as a platform where planning often precedes purchase. This is an opportunity to shape lower-funnel success for advertisers in a category where consideration and conversion are deeply influenced by visual discovery, seasonality, and life-stage moments.

We invite passionate candidates to join our US Enterprise Sales team, where we have open positions across several business sectors, in various locations. By applying for the Client Account Manager position, your application will be considered for all available roles that match your skills and experience. Submit your resume once, and it will be considered by multiple hiring teams.

What you'll do:

  • Translate partner goals and data into clear, actionable insights for effective media strategies.
  • Advise clients on Pinterest ad products, targeting, bidding, creative, and measurement best practices.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand needs, solve challenges, and promote Pinterest solutions.
  • Clearly explain complex products and processes, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and agencies.
  • Build strong partner relationships and proactively expand opportunities to drive revenue growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in digital advertising sales, preferably with performance advertisers.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to explore AI tools to improve day-to-day productivity, including campaign setup, performance reporting, client communications, and research. Leverages AI to work more efficiently, whether it's streamlining optimizations, preparing for client meetings, or surfacing insights from campaign data, while maintaining attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage mutually beneficial client accounts independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at building lasting partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 67 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
