Given how essential networking is in the modern world, managing the devices that comprise a network is a critical operation. Smart machines are well-suited to set them up, to optimize their operation, and to ensure stability & security. HPE's Mist Cloud manages such large distributed systems, including wired and wireless networking devices, and is recognized as the industry leader in this space. The world's largest corporations and most important institutions choose our systems for their reliability and ease of use.

We are looking for a someone who goes distances to make sure customers are wildly successful. A person who communicates with customers, understands their questions as well as solves complex technical issues. You will become the subject matter expert in Enterprise Wireless and Wired Networks.

Responsibilities:

Triage and Resolve Customer Support Escalations from multiple inbound channels

Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness of responses, and overall customer experience.

Build and maintain layer 2/3 network testbeds.

Understand features and reproduce customer issues.

File tickets on bugs found.

Analyze logs and pinpoint root causes.

Work with developers and drive solutions.

Participate in relevant meetings and discussions and provide status reports.

Ask good questions.

Qualifications:

In-depth Knowledge in Layer 2 and Layer 3 Networking

In-depth Knowledge in 802.11 Wi-Fi standards

HPE Router & Switch Certifications is a plus

Experience level: 8+ years

BA/BS/MS in EECS or related subject area
