Job Description

The PWM Associate Client Services Team Leader / Manager is responsible for leading a team of PWM Associates who support Wealth clients and Wealth Advisors across Private Wealth Management. This leader is accountable for driving operational excellence, delivering an exceptional client experience, managing operational risk, and fostering a high-performing, client-focused culture.

The Team Leader / Manager serves as a key partner to Wealth Advisors, Market Leaders, and business partners to ensure seamless client support, strong operational execution, and consistent service delivery. This role is responsible for coaching and developing team members, optimizing workflows, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of PWM Associates dedicated to supporting Wealth clients and Wealth Advisors.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service.
• Partner closely with Wealth Advisors, Market Leaders, and business partners to deliver a seamless and proactive client experience.
• Provide leadership and oversight of daily client service operations and associate support activities.
• Drive operational excellence through effective management of service standards, productivity, quality, and risk controls.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and firm policies.
• Champion process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, employee experience, and client outcomes.
• Support capacity planning, workload balancing, coverage strategies, and resource management to maintain service excellence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across regional and national business partners to support business objectives.
• Anticipate client and advisor needs, proactively identify solutions, and remove obstacles that may impact service delivery.
• Build leadership capability within the team through ongoing coaching, performance management, mentorship, and development planning.
• Lead change management efforts and effectively communicate new initiatives, processes, and expectations.

Leadership Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and people management experience with a demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong banking and wealth management knowledge, including an understanding of client servicing, account administration, operational processes, and risk management.
• Solid operations management experience with a track record of driving efficiency, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Strong risk and control management capabilities with the ability to identify, escalate, and mitigate operational risks.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and effectively partner with Wealth Advisors, Market Leaders, business partners, and support teams.
• A client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and advisors.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lead through change, manage competing priorities, and execute strategic and operational initiatives.
• Experience driving process improvements that enhance employee experience, client experience, operational efficiency, and service quality.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,345.00 - $115,700.00
