The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Seasonal Retail Associate to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

**Seasonal Full-Time will run until January 2, 2027 with the possibility of extending to Full-Time employment**

As a Retail Associate, you’re not just selling merchandise – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Delight our guests: Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly and efficient service to enhance the shopping experience
• Drive retail sales: Highlight promotions and provide product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and maximize profitability
• Be a product expert: Offer guidance on merchandise, styling, and pricing to help customers make informed purchases
• Process transactions with care: Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cards
• Package and fulfill orders: Wrap merchandise and prepare orders for shipments
• Monitor inventory: Assist with stock management and ensuring proper merchandise supply levels
