Job description

Builds and leads Adobe’s Adversarial Fraud Testing function within Global Consumer Trust. Proactively simulates and recreates real-world fraud and abuse attacks against Adobe’s externally facing products and fraud controls to identify weaknesses and validate defenses.

Partners across Fraud Prevention, Product, Engineering, Security, and other organizations to translate adversarial findings into stronger controls, product improvements, and systemic risk reduction. Establishes repeatable testing methodologies and ensures remediation is validated through ongoing adversarial testing.

What you’ll do

  • Build and lead Adobe’s Adversarial Fraud Testing function within Global Consumer Trust, proactively testing how fraudsters and other bad actors may exploit Adobe’s products, services, and fraud controls.

  • Develop an adversarial testing strategy and methodology that safely simulates real-world fraud and abuse across customer journeys, APIs, account creation, payments, entitlements, and other externally facing product experiences.

  • Lead the recreation of significant fraud attacks to understand how controls were bypassed, identify weaknesses, and determine opportunities to strengthen Adobe’s defenses.

  • Partner with Fraud Prevention, Product, Engineering, Security, and other teams to design adversarial tests, evaluate controls, and prioritize remediation of identified gaps.

  • Build repeatable testing capabilities using automation, APIs, scripting, and other technical approaches to simulate fraud and abuse at scale.

  • Validate new and existing fraud controls by testing whether mitigations effectively disrupt attack paths and reduce opportunities for circumvention.

  • Establish clear processes for documenting findings, assessing risk, communicating recommendations, and tracking remediation through completion and retesting.

  • Identify patterns across adversarial tests and real-world incidents to surface systemic weaknesses and influence Adobe’s fraud prevention strategy and product roadmaps.

  • Build and develop a high-performing team with the technical, fraud, and adversarial expertise needed to anticipate and reproduce evolving attack techniques.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, plus 10+ years of hands-on industry experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in fraud prevention, adversarial testing, security, abuse prevention, risk engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of how fraudsters and other bad actors exploit digital products, customer journeys, APIs, identity systems, payments, and business processes.

  • Technical fluency with APIs, automation, scripting, data analysis, and modern web and cloud architectures, with the ability to effectively lead highly technical testing.

  • Must have: Python/similar programming, APIs/HTTP, automation, debugging, Git, data/SQL, ability to understand product architecture.

  • Useful: JavaScript, cloud services, browser automation, authentication/identity systems, CI/CD, security testing tools.

  • Strong adversarial mindset with the ability to think creatively about how controls and intended product behaviors could be circumvented or abused.

  • Experience developing structured testing methodologies and translating findings into actionable product, engineering, and fraud-control improvements.

  • Proven ability to influence Product, Engineering, Fraud, Security, and senior leaders without direct authority.

  • Strong judgment and ability to balance effective adversarial testing with customer, business, security, legal, and operational considerations.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex attack paths and technical findings into clear business risks and executive recommendations.

Filing history reflects past employer behavior; it isn't a promise for this opening.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 728 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
