The Generative AI Innovation Center helps AWS customers implement Generative AI solutions and realize transformational business opportunities. This is a team of strategists, scientists, engineers, and architects working step-by-step with customers to build bespoke solutions that harness the power of generative AI.

We seek an Engagement Manager to lead Generative AI transformation projects. Engagement Managers drive AWS GenAI adoption, orchestrate customer engagements, and ensure successful delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions. Engagement Managers set up an effective work framework, proactively handle risks and communicate in an effective way with all stakeholders.

This role is focused on leading transformation projects with autonomy, often involving multiple Amazon and customer teams and needing to deliver measurable customer outcomes.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead GenAI transformation projects and strategic initiatives
• Develop and execute AI adoption strategies aligned with customer business outcomes
• Drive innovation through AWS Foundation Models, Amazon Bedrock, and custom LLM solutions
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams including AI/ML experts, solutions architects, and developers
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in GenAI space

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise IT/AI projects using Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional methodologies
• Experience managing one or more projects with a combination of 6+ resources, 5+ months, or $200k+ in contract value.
• Strategic thinking and innovation mindset
• PMP and CSM certifications or equivalent project management certification
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and cloud computing platforms
• Experience in technology consulting or professional services

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher base salary, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.
