More than 300 million customers shop in Amazon’s store, and every day, customers browse, purchase, and review products sold by third-party sellers right alongside products sold by Amazon. The Amazon Global Selling team is responsible for recruiting 3P sellers and helping them grow their business on Amazon, either through their own logistic networks or leveraging Amazon's global fulfillment and customer service network. Amazon Global Selling is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to work on business analysis process. This role reports to a sale operation manager and is based in Beijing, China. The role will support the day-to-day business reporting and analysis, annual operating plans and quarterly guidance, and month-end close, etc.

Key job responsibilities

1. Assist with business planning and analysis for Global Selling business, including data collection for monthly/quarterly reviews and supporting forecast preparations
2. Collaborate with team members on data modeling with AI tools, metrics tracking, and cross-functional projects to gain insights into business performance
3. Learn and contribute to various business initiatives through data analysis, report creation, and other projects as assigned by the manager

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
• Experience using Excel at an advanced level including practical knowledge of VBA/macros and advanced Excel functions
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Self-driven, with can-do attitude and curiosity to learn.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in mass data handling with Python, SQL, AI tools, etc.
