As a Business Development Manager working with Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include increasing adoption, and market penetration in both medium and large enterprise accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business development and technical background that enables him or her to engage at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT infrastructure and software designers and architects. He/she must also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objectives.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate combines strong business development acumen with technical solution selling expertise and the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives and business unit leaders. You must possess a self-driven mindset with strategic planning capabilities, as well as experience in developing and executing territory business plans to achieve business targets and objectives.
1. Develop and execute against territory strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and goals
2. Drive top down initiatives from key decision makers including C-suite executives and business unit leaders.
3. Identify and hunting for new opportunities in a defined territory to create robust pipeline
4. Differentiate AWS and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services to customers
5. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and partners for the assigned territories. Analyze metrics data to help evolve your strategy and reports.

Basic qualifications

• Experience analysing market opportunities, engaging and negotiating with customers, and defining new areas of innovation
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners
• Experience with external customer interaction, or experience in customer acquisition
• Experience with AI/ML technologies
