Job Description:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations manager located at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, who will be responsible for Delivery, Quality of ODM and Contract Manufacture Partners.

This Position will be the Primary interface for several ODM/CM partners located at Mexico (Guadalajara, Monterrey, Juarez, etc.). Responsible for reporting, resolving/escalating material, quality and engineering issues as required. He/she will work closely with Supply Planning, Supply Chain, GCM, GMM, Logistics and RMA team. Technical liaison to HPE Tech Operations and Supplier Quality teams. Work with Ops Planning to develop and implement Build Plan to support revenue shipments. Manage build plan execution and reporting to ensure timely delivery of products to region hub ROP or DOF shipments.  This position will be the go to person and a bridge both from HPE internal and ODM/CM. This position require full time working from HPE office at HPE Aguadilla, Puerto Rico facility. There will be 30% travel requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Administration wise reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director. Functionally reporting to the Business Manager, Supply Chain Manager in USA.
• Responsible for Delivery, Quality of ODM/CM Partners and support Cost initiatives.
• Primary interface for ODM/CM partners located at Mexico. Responsible for reporting, resolving/escalating material, quality and engineering issues as required.
• Work closely with Supply Planning, Supply Chain, GCM, GSM, Logistics and RMA team. Technical liaison to HPE Tech Operations and Supplier Quality teams. All onsite team will dot line report this this position.
• Work with Ops Planning to develop and implement Build Plan to support revenue shipments. Manage build plan execution and reporting to ensure timely delivery of products to FG or hubs in APAC/EMEA/NA Region in support of ROP healthy and ship plan. 
• Interface with HPE NPI Team to manage / insure new products are effectively transitioned to production.
• Facilitate return and repair of internal (Engineering) products to the ODM/CM.
• Monitor / maintain ODM/CM data including ATP feeds to insure accuracy and timeliness. Monitor supply commits.
• Provide project coordination and supports for key customers and internal projects.
• Working with partner, ensure that all material orders are being executed via MRP signals and support build plans. 
• Working with HPE Supply Chain Material and Operation Teams for incoming supply of materials.
• Ensure that all ECO's, MCO’s and Deviations are implemented. Assign effective dates, and report financial impact.
• Monitor / manage and track OCOGS with the manufacturing partner.  Provide timely reporting and disposition.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Major in electronics or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in electronics industry, and in similar roles like PM or SCM.
• Must have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Madarian is preferred as plus.
• Well versed with SAP ERP, Windows and Microsoft Office especially Excel and project.
• Familiar with document control, BOMs, ECOs and etc. Process driven work style.
• Stationed at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, working with ODM/CM factories in Mexico.
• Must be able to independently resolve issues in accordance with the processes and guidelines as set up by HPE.
• Work with the existing CM/ODM on a daily basis. Able to work on flexible working hours.
• Must be able work under pressure and with a can-do attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated effectivity in working with multi-cultural, multi-location team.
• Able to work in details and see the big picture. Able to challenge team to next level.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills. Able to listen and understand quickly.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of global procurement processes, industry, and complex suppliers.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills.
• Strong knowledge, use and influence of procurement tools and applications.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Strong Project Management Skills.
• Excellent team leadership and influencing skills.
• Mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to create a contract from standard company or customized contract templates with limited supervision.
• Applies cause and effect thinking to identify challenging contact risk areas.
• Capable of drafting contract solutions in known contract risk areas to obtain acceptable outcomes with limited supervision.
• Strong understanding of contracting principles.
• Ability to close complex deals in a timely fashion.
• Strong ability to develop suppliers strategically.
• Strong understanding of the company.
