Account Executive, SME & Growth

The Account Executive team is a core driver of growth within Airwallex. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business across our Acquiring, Card, FX, and Payment API product suite, targeting eCommerce retailers, marketplaces, online travel agents, and other high-potential verticals.

As an Account Executive, you will combine deep payments expertise with a strong commercial mindset to deliver consistent results across the SME & Growth segment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, hunt, and convert new business opportunities across Australia, leveraging your network, industry expertise, and strategic prospecting.

• Own and drive the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting through to close, across SME Accounts accounts.

• Lead complex commercial negotiations, partnering closely with Legal, Finance, and Strategy to execute agreements.

• Build, manage, and maintain a high-quality pipeline, while contributing to the definition and evolution of sales best practices for the Australian business.
