Croí Health is looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Major Gift Officer to join our Charitable Fund team.

For more than 100 years, Croí Health has been a trusted part of the South Shore community, providing compassionate care to patients and families. Philanthropy plays an important role in making that care possible, and this is an exciting time to join our team. The Major Gift Officer will manage a portfolio of $25,000+ donors and prospects, with a focus on building strong relationships, increasing leadership giving, and securing five- and six-figure gifts. This is an opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to make an immediate impact while helping shape the future of philanthropy at Croí Health.

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday) in addition to company events and occasional meetings outside of office hours

Compensation:

$110,000 - $124,800

What will you be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Development and working closely with organizational leadership and the Croí Health Charitable Fund Board of Trustees, the Major Gift Officer will:

• Manage a portfolio of $25,000+ donors and prospects.
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors.
• Develop individualized strategies to move prospects toward meaningful philanthropic commitments.
• Build and strengthen a pipeline of new major gift prospects.
• Cultivate and secure five- and six-figure gifts.
• Build authentic relationships with donors, prospective donors, grateful patients and families, community leaders, and volunteers.
• Partner with clinical, administrative, and volunteer leaders to create meaningful donor engagement opportunities.
• Work closely with the Director of Development on strategic gift discussions, solicitations, and stewardship.
• Participate in donor visits, cultivation activities, targeted events, presentations, and solicitations.
• Use prospect research and fundraising data to develop strategies and measure progress.
• Maintain accurate donor records and activity in the organization's fundraising database.
• Work with members of the Charitable Fund Board to identify and cultivate emerging philanthropic and community leaders.

• Experienced in managing a major gift portfolio and developing a prospect pipeline.
• Motivated by Croí Health's mission and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including high-level annual giving and/or major gift fundraising.
• Demonstrated experience with the full major gift cycle: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Proven track record of securing six-figure gifts.
• Experience building and managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and experience working with fundraising databases.
• Experience with DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge NXT, or similar software is a plus.
• Experience in health care and/or community-based philanthropy is a plus.
