The impact you’ll make

As a Contingent Workforce Planning Manager at Lam Research, you will play a critical role in developing and executing workforce strategies to support business growth across global operations. You will lead contingent workforce planning initiatives, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Leaders, Procurement, and Workforce Suppliers to ensure the right talent is available at the right time to meet evolving business needs.
You will drive workforce forecasting, capacity planning, vendor management, and workforce optimization while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, operational requirements, and budget objectives.

What you’ll do

• Lead projects related projects to solve complex business problems.
• Build scalable solutions that improve contingent workforce management processes and enable the successful execution of critical business strategies.
• Provide actionable insights for management to support decision making through data collection and analysis.
• Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to meet business requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process.
• Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related experience in project management or program management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.

Preferred qualifications

• Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
