Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our NSW Public Sector team in Sydney. The territory covers a portfolio of NSW Government agencies. Key job responsibilities

• Work to increasing adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
• Help create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
• Articulate a compelling value propositions to customers
• Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
• Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

Basic qualifications

- Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles

Preferred qualifications

- 5+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience
