Sr. Associate (Arabic), Prime Video Trust & Safety

You will review Arabic-language content for maturity ratings, content descriptors, and compliance risks. This includes flagging policy violations, consulting with policy and program teams, and working with internal stakeholders to resolve grey-area content decisions. The role requires you to understand the cultural, religious, and sociopolitical landscape of MENA markets and apply that knowledge to real-time compliance decisions.
You are passionate about content quality and understand what makes content compliant or non-compliant across different territories. You play a key role on the team, reviewing content against regional regulations, developing compliance recommendations, and flagging risks before they reach the customer. You possess strong analytical thinking and will develop deep expertise in MENA regulatory frameworks, Amazon's content policies, and internal compliance tools to deliver accurate ratings and actionable escalation reports. You thrive under tight launch timelines, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, helping you work across global teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop expertise in MENA content regulations and Amazon's internal content policies, and apply them to compliance decisions based on regional and title-specific requirements.
• Review Arabic-language content for maturity ratings, content descriptors, and compliance risks, ensuring all published titles meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Conduct in-depth content analysis to identify compliance gaps, flag risks, and develop actionable recommendations for policy and program teams.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on compliance goals and launch readiness.

About the team
Prime Video Trust and Safety Operations is looking for an Arabic and English Content Compliance Associate to join the content review team. This role sits within a team of content reviewers covering content compliance for Amazon's streaming platform across Arabic and non-Arabic speaking markets, and is critical to ensuring that all content published on Prime Video meets regional regulatory requirements, internal content policies, and maturity rating standards.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 or more years of prior experience in content moderation, content compliance, regulatory risk, or Trust and Safety operations
• Fluent in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and English at C1+ level (written and spoken), with required comprehension of Saudi/Gulf (Khaliji) and Egyptian Arabic dialects
• Understanding of geographical, sociopolitical, and cultural sensitivities across MENA territories
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level, including pivot tables, charts, lookups, and data cleansing
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a diverse team
• Experience reviewing audio-visual content for maturity ratings, content descriptors, and regional compliance
• Strong written communication in English for compliance reports, escalation summaries, and policy documentation

Preferred qualifications

• CEFR: Rating of C1 or C2
• ACTFL OPI/OPIc: Advanced High or Superior
