Job description

Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping consumers find and discover products and services. We help advertisers reach global audiences via Amazon owned and operated sites (Amazon.com, IMDb.com), millions of Fire TVs, Kindles, and Fire Tablets, and on high-quality sites across the internet via the Amazon DSP.  With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, our advertising solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase product sales, and solidify brand loyalty.  If you are interested in joining a world-class advertising group with a relentless focus on the customer, you’ve come to the right place.

Amazon Adapt is a program designed to offer coverage solutions for business gaps which may occur due to extended leave (parental, medical) and unexpected account transitions.  Amazon Adapt deploys highly skilled, hyper-agile talent that ensures customers can continue to invest in their partnerships with Amazon Advertising, uninterrupted. The program ensures that the high bar for customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment is maintained during these coverage gaps.

As a member of the Amazon Adapt team, you will have the opportunity to complete a series of rotations across a range of consumer industries.  This enables Adapt team members to experience high-velocity exposure to teams across the organization and to clients across different verticals.  From day 1 Adapt team members must use their experience to earn trust with multiple stakeholders and take ownership of account relationships within a team.  As a member of the Adapt team you will use your experience and vast knowledge to drive results for advertisers and internal stakeholders. Adapt team members are decisive, knowledgeable, and use high judgement. The Adapt role will give you a chance to Learn and be Curious and the autonomy to own projects that will help you advance your career at Amazon. The Adapt team prioritizes flexibility, and hires for both 40 and 30 hour work weeks.

As a Full Funnel Seller on the Adapt team, you will serve as the sole commercial point of contact for advertiser accounts during leave of absence coverage periods. You will independently own all client relationships, revenue targets, and product selling. For endemic accounts, you will manage the full product suite across SPB, Display, and Video. For non-endemic accounts, you will manage DSP renewals, audience strategy, and multi-tactic adoption across Performance+, Brand+, and 3P Deals. You will execute sprint-based playbook-driven pitches, manage DAA renewals, own the Salesforce pipeline end-to-end, and maintain 100% pitch coverage and zero dark periods across a book of 4 accounts.

If you are ready to make an immediate impact, embrace change, and accelerate your career at Amazon, come join us!

Key job responsibilities

  • Independently own all client relationships and revenue for a book of business
  • Execute sprint-based playbook-driven pitches across the full product suite
  • Manage full-funnel selling: SPB + Display + Video (endemic) or DSP + P+ + B+ + 3P Deals (non-endemic)
  • Own Salesforce pipeline end-to-end including DAA renewals and forecasting
  • Deliver 100% pitch coverage and 90%+ renewal rates
  • Maintain zero dark periods greater than 60 days
  • Conduct quarterly sprint themes from Core4 diagnostic (endemic) or quarterly performance reviews (non-endemic)
  • Present QBRs, campaign performance reviews, and proposals to clients
  • Identify and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities across the full product suite
  • Manage all sales calls, proposals, and stakeholder relationships independently
  • Collaborate with partner teams via scaled support model (office hours, pitch repository)
  • This is a client-facing role and requires up to 20% domestic travel as needed

A day in the life
As a Full Funnel Seller on the Adapt team, you start your day with a pipeline review in Salesforce, checking renewal timelines, campaign pacing, and upcoming pitch deadlines across your accounts. You then lead a client call to discuss campaign performance, present optimization recommendations, and advance a Video pitch (endemic) or DSP audience refresh (non-endemic). Mid-morning, you prepare a sprint pitch using playbook templates for an upcoming quarterly presentation. After lunch, you conduct a campaign optimization review, identify upsell opportunities, and draft a proposal. You close out the day updating Salesforce, managing stakeholder follow-ups, and planning tomorrow's client meetings. You own the entire commercial relationship for your accounts.

About the team
The Amazon Adapt team specializes in dynamic work. Our team supports the Global Amazon Ads Organization during gaps in business coverage due to leaves of absence, roles to be hired, and unexpected employee movement. Amazon Adapt's vision is to provide the world's most customer-centric business coverage, exceeding both customer and employee expectations during periods of transition.

This role provides rotational coverage for single-seller accounts where you own the advertiser relationship. When a single seller goes on LOA or there is a TBH, Adapt is the only solution to maintain account relationships and protect revenue. You will operate as the sole point of contact across the full product suite. The Adapt team prioritizes flexibility and hires for both 40 and 30 hour work weeks.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 87 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
