Vice President, Production Services Application Support

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support  to join our Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• The VP, Application Production Support, is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and reliability of critical business applications through proactive monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, and stakeholder coordination. 
• The role supports Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, drives service improvements, mitigates operational risks, and enhances platform resilience through automation and process optimization.
• Strong experience in Production/Application Support within enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and issue remediation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and issue remediation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) applications in a business-critical environment.
• Proven ability to operate in a customer-facing production support role, balancing business priorities, and operational risk.
• Strong understanding of SLA, regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements within financial services.
• Ability to understand business priorities, assess impact, prioritize critical issues, and respond rapidly in a fast-paced, customer-facing production support environment.
• Experience with Unix/Linux administration, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Knowledge of Informatica ETL development, workflow monitoring, and support.
• Understanding of file transfer technologies, batch processing, scheduling tools, and data integration platforms.
• Experience with Python for automation and operational tooling.
• Knowledge of Snowflake data platform administration and support.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Java Spring Boot applications.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• 10+ Years of experience is required.
• Informatica ETL development, workflow monitoring, and production support knowledge.
• Understanding of file transfer, batch processing, scheduling, and data integration platforms.
