Our team works to strengthen the Windows ecosystem by bringing Microsoft innovation to life through Surface. The Specialist Sales team combine the power of Microsoft’s first-party devices with deep customer engagement to accelerate Windows adoption, demonstrate what’s possible on the platform, win strategic customers and create momentum that benefits the broader Windows ecosystem.

In this role, you will Drive Surface growth across Australia’s Enterprise Commercial and Enterprise Public Sector customers by building pipeline, accelerating sales and deepening customer and partner engagement. Grow Surface and Windows platform share, provide intelligence and lead customer adoption of Edge and Hybrid AI on Windows devices, positioning Surface as the flagship platform for commercial on-device AI.

Responsibilities

• Drive Surface business growth across managed customers, achieving revenue, market share, and profitability targets while maximising accessories and warranty attach.

• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, identifying new opportunities, executing account and territory plans, maintaining forecast accuracy, and accelerating deal progression from qualification to close.

• Grow Windows platform adoption by positioning Surface as Microsoft's flagship device portfolio and successfully competing against non-Windows alternatives.

• Lead customer conversations around innovation, including Hybrid/Edge AI and Copilot+ PCs (Intel And ARM-based computing including Qualcomm Snapdragon. NVIDIA RTX), and future next-generation device experiences.

• Develop trusted relationships with customer decision-makers, IT leaders, procurement teams, solution partners and business stakeholders to influence device strategies and modernisation initiatives.

• Partner across Microsoft and the channel ecosystem, collaborating with Account Teams, Partner Development Managers, Specialists, Customer Success, and strategic partners to deliver customer outcomes and wins.

• Provide market and customer insights, identifying trends, opportunities, and threats to inform sales strategy and support broader Windows ecosystem growth.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology-related solution sales or account management OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related solution sales or account management OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.  Relevant industry certifications are also desirable.
