Job Description

As a Senior Contracts Capability Architect, you will be responsible for the contractual architecture of the Global Contracts Capabilities portfolio. You will have accountability to develop the strategy and execution plan to create a unified contractual customer experience that is modular and scalable.

You will partner with Global Capability Managers, Product Managers, Segment Operations, and other departments. This partnership will create the simplification of our contractual services offers. Additionally, it will provide an interconnected and seamless experience for our internal and external customers across the lifecycle. Understanding End-user, OEM, SI and Channel buying behaviors to ensure the contracts architecture will meet the needs of today and tomorrow. Your success will depend on collaboration and influence to bring a unified contracts architecture to life through multiple stakeholders and operational support teams.

You will report to the Director, Contract Capabilities and work in a hybrid environment from one of our Rockwell Automation office locations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Development of a strategy and roadmap to simplify our contractual offerings allowing them to be quoted, delivered and renewed in a modular and scalable manner while serving multiple customer needs, regional variation, and diverse delivery teams to drive business growth and streamline solution delivery
• Close collaboration with LCS PRS, LCS Regional, LCS C&I, Global Customer Success, and Segment Operations teams ensures that contracts simplification strategy helps deliver their key contractual objectives. Additionally, this collaboration ensures that cross-functional teams allocate funding, resources, and capacity appropriately to meet their ARR objectives.
• Ensure offering execution requirements are communicated and translated into business system requirements
• Ongoing influence of new service introductions and continuous improvement projects to ensure alignment to the contracts simplification strategy
• Achieve main LCS contractual goals including ARR metrics and contracts profitability and growth

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel 15% of the time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 8+ years working in the services environment with a focus on contractual D2R strategy and execution
• Awareness of contractual services elements including Terms and Conditions, Statement of Work, Partnership Agreements and Pricing processes and documentation
• Experience working in a global capacity and influencing across a geographically distributed team
• Knowledge of Rockwell Automation services offerings and how financials affect the business.
• Experience flexing between long-term strategy development and daily execution.
• Understand End User, OEM, SI and Channel buying behaviors to ensure continuous contracts simplification will meet the needs of today as well as tomorrow.
• Experience translating contract lifecycle activities into requirements across multiple business systems
