Product Analyst - Product Security

Job Description

The Product Analyst serves as a cross-functional support and enablement partner within the Product Security organization. The role supports Product Owners and Product Managers by improving product planning, stakeholder alignment, communications, decision-making, and visibility into product outcomes.

This position focuses on discovery, analysis, planning readiness, documentation, reporting, communications, and stakeholder engagement rather than day-to-day engineering delivery activities. The Product Analyst helps ensure Product Security teams have the information, insights, and coordination necessary to deliver customer and business outcomes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Product Planning & Analysis

• Support Product Owners and Product Managers with product planning and execution activities
• Assist in preparing and validating PI Planning inputs, objectives, dependencies, and readiness artifacts
• Analyze product performance, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
• Support roadmap discussions, prioritization activities, and strategic planning exercises

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Product Security stakeholders, business representatives, engineering teams, and operational teams to gather requirements and feedback
• Facilitate alignment across teams by identifying dependencies, risks, and impacts
• Help ensure stakeholder needs and business outcomes are represented in planning and decision-making processes

Communications & Documentation

• Develop and maintain product documentation, communications, knowledge articles, and planning materials
• Coordinate communications related to Product Security initiatives, product changes, and customer impacts
• Help ensure communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational messaging standards

Reporting & Insights

• Create reports, dashboards, and analysis that provide visibility into product performance and delivery outcomes
• Support leadership reporting and preparation of business reviews, planning sessions, and governance activities
• Collect and synthesize data from multiple sources to support informed decision-making

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, transparency, stakeholder engagement, and planning effectiveness
• Support adoption of Product Model practices, standards, and governance frameworks
• Contribute to improving consistency across Product Security teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field
• Experience supporting product management, project management, business analysis, or cybersecurity functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience creating reports, presentations, documentation, and stakeholder communications
• Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders and sources
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams and initiatives simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or technology organizations
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe practices
• Experience supporting PI Planning, roadmap planning, or portfolio planning activities
• Experience with JIRA, Targetprocess, Azure DevOps, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar collaboration and reporting tools
• Experience supporting stakeholder engagement, communications, and organizational change initiatives
