In the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will own, troubleshoot, and solve complex customer technical issues. Responsibilities

• Response and Resolution: You own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues and act as an advisor to the customer, collaborating within and across teams, leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
• Readiness: You lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share your knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring of others.
• You deepen your technical and professional proficiency to enable you to resolve complex customer issues, through training and readiness.
• Product/Process Improvement: You engage with Microsoft Engineering/ Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools, driving Microsoft product improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in BC NAV systems like Dynamics, SAP, PeopleSoft, NetSuite ERP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Epicor, and/or related.
• Business Central Functionality: In-depth understanding of Business Central modules covering financial management, supply chain, project management, sales, and service functionalities.
• Installation and Configuration: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and setting up Business Central, including database configuration, user setup, security settings, and module activation.
• Customization and Modification: Ability to customize Business Central forms, reports, and workflows using built-in customization tools or AL (Application Language) programming for more advanced modifications.
• Integration with Third-party Systems: Knowledge of integrating Business Central with other systems such as CRM, payroll, HR systems, and industry-specific software to streamline business operations.
• Data Migration and Upgrades: Skills in migrating data from legacy systems to Business Central, managing data integrity, and handling version upgrades and patches. 
• Security and User Management: Implementing security measures, managing user roles, permissions, and ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory standards. 
• Financial Management: Expertise in financial functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, and financial reporting within Business Central.
• Inventory and Order Management: Proficiency in managing inventory, sales orders, purchase orders, stock control, and fulfillment processes within Business Central.
• Report Generation and Analytics: Skills in generating customized reports, dashboards, and analytics using built-in reporting tools or integrations with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Power Platform Integration: Understanding and leveraging the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for extending Business Central functionalities, automation, and reporting.

Experience in one or more of these areas desirable:

• Hands on 5+ years experience in a customer facing service role in any capacity.
• Strong customer service, accurate and logical problem solving.
• Experience in creating technical documentation and sharing knowledge with others through training delivery and mentoring.
• Exposure and experience working with customers on the Cloud, e.g. Microsoft Cloud products or other Cloud Management System.

Language Qualification:

• English Language: confident in reading, writing and speaking.
• Any other language proficiency like German, French, Italian etc. will be an added advantage.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role.  These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.

Technical Support Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Romania is lei 199,400.00 - lei 347,800.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
