As a key member of our innovative team, you will:

• Ensure integrated system design compliance by planning and executing requirement validation and verification.
• Provide critical input during design reviews, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Lead test teams to validate system functionality.
• Develop comprehensive test procedures to validate system functionality.
• Actively participate in tests, applying your expertise to refine and improve systems.
• Perform and document crucial verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute valuable insights to technical designs and discussions, fostering innovation.

Responsibilities

• Derive, plan, document, and execute the tests, demonstrations, inspections, and analyses necessary to show compliance with system-, subsystem-, and component-level requirements for hardware and software.
• Define test system architecture, design tests, and design test equipment.
• Write test plans and procedures.
• Lead test readiness reviews and test events.
• Assist with risk assessment and management.
• Collaborate with team members to determine the best solutions to problems as they arise.
• Work with various engineering disciplines to understand, troubleshoot, and support project efforts.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency working with requirements, verification, and validation.
• Ability to lead a test team.
• Experience working with systems of systems.

Desired

• Master of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay Range

:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,000 - $163,800
