The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG). You will have a unique opportunity to design and build mission-critical applications that enable federal oversight professionals to leverage cutting-edge AI and advanced analytics in their investigative, audit, and inspection operations.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will develop and enhance AI-powered applications including OIGChat—a large language model assistant—mission-specific pilot applications, and user-facing data platform interfaces that bring enterprise data capabilities to investigators, analysts, and auditors. You will build responsive front-ends, robust back-end services, and seamless integrations with AI services, data platforms, and analytics tools. From implementing CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring to creating data discovery interfaces and geospatial analytics features, you will shape the user experience of transformational technology. Working within secure Azure Government environments using modern development frameworks and Agile practices, you will deliver production-grade applications on a program of national importance. Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications including OIGChat enhancements, mission-specific AI pilot applications, data platform user interfaces, and analytical tools supporting investigative and oversight workflows

·         Implement front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) with focus on usability, accessibility, and responsive design for diverse user communities including investigators, analysts, auditors, and executives

·         Develop back-end services, APIs, and integrations with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, search/indexing capabilities, Azure Databricks, and enterprise data platform using Python, Node.js, or .NET

·         Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, repositories, Infrastructure as Code artifacts, automated tests, and deployment traceability using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent DevSecOps tooling

·         Develop data catalog UI, data discovery features, access request interfaces, workflow automation, and collaborative workspace capabilities that enable self-service analytics within governed environments

·         Implement application logging, monitoring, performance tracking, error handling, and security controls to support production operations and continuous improvement

·         Support development and integration of geospatial analytics, visualization dashboards, graph/network analysis interfaces, and specialized analytical capabilities tailored to investigative use cases

·         Coordinate releases under DHS OIG change management processes, support transition from prototype to production-ready applications, and conduct comprehensive testing including UAT coordination

·         Develop technical documentation, user guides, workflow examples, demonstrations, FAQs, troubleshooting resources, and release notes to support user adoption and knowledge transfer

·         Collaborate with Government stakeholders, Product Owners, AI engineers, data engineers, and UX specialists using Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver iterative value aligned with mission priorities

Qualifications:

Required:

·         Bachelor's degree.  Will consider experience in lieu of education

·         10 or more years of experience in software development, full stack engineering, or related field

·         Proven full stack development experience with strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and back-end technologies (Python, Node.js, .NET, Java)

·         Demonstrated experience developing cloud-native applications on Azure (or AWS/GCP) including App Services, Functions, API Management, Storage, and integration with PaaS services

·         Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/GitHub), automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices

·         Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with understanding of user-centered design, iterative development, and cross-functional team collaboration

·         Willing and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Desired:

·         Experience developing applications that integrate with AI/ML services, large language models (Azure OpenAI, LangChain), RAG architectures, or data analytics platforms (Databricks, Power BI, Tableau)

·         Hands-on experience with Azure Government or other secure government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud) with understanding of federal security requirements, ATO processes, and compliance controls

·         Background in federal government, law enforcement, investigative, or national security applications with understanding of sensitive data handling, user workflows for oversight missions, and mission-driven development

Pay Range

:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
