The successful candidate should be excited about opportunities incorporating new technologies into the software development process. They should also be confident in their ability to maintain a development infrastructure and perform to customer specifications. This role will also be able to perform certain system administration functions to support development efforts.
Strong documentation skills are a plus in this role.

• Strong Technical Expertise: Proficient in coding, scripting, and automation tools. Knowledgeable in cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and tools. Familiar with threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, and security testing tools.
• Continuous Learning: Stays updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and DevSecOps trends. Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Automation Mindset: Leverages automation to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines efficiently. Familiar with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and automated security testing tools.
• Compliance and Governance: Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to information security. Ensures that DevSecOps practices comply with these standards.

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:​

Performs tech planning, design, devel, integ, v&v for total syst life cycle. Analyses performed at all levels of syst product incl. concept, design, fabrication, test, instl, operation, maintenance & disposal, incorp design methods & stds for Cyber Security, SW & HW infrastructure. Designs, devels, docs, tests & debugs SW that contains logical & math solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language. Ensures the logical & syst conversion of customer/product reqs into total syst solutions that ack tech, sched, cost constraints & align to SW & HW deployment pipelines & factories. Performs func & timeline analysis, detail trade & reqs allocation & interface defs studies to translate customer reqs into HW & SW feature defs & acceptance criteria. Applies stds, processes, procedures & tools throughout the devel life cycle. Applies HW & SW knowledge, cyber security stds in business/mission apps, & feedback from users to develop SW. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles doc of program devel & analyzes syst capabilities to resolve program problems, output/input data acq, programming tech & controls. Ensures SW stds are met. Validates incorp of features & use cases into implemented designs

Basic Qualifications

• Security+ certification
• Must have an active Top Secret with ability to obtain and maintain SCI security clearance. (Must be a US citizen)

The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with one or more of the following automation technologies:
• Gitlab/Git
• Pipeline Automation
• Automation and Scripting
• Kubernetes

Desired Skills

The successful candidate may have additional demonstrated experience with the following automation technologies:
• ArgoCD
• Ansible
• Helm
• Platform as a Service experience

• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
