Job description

The high-performing Global Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using data analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

We are looking for someone who is eager to be a part of a dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced environment. You will have a first hand opportunity to shape monetization efforts in the North America Key Accounts business. This role requires strong data analytics skills to identify and prioritize organizational growth levers, solve pain points, and partner closely with cross-functional leaders. This person should have strategic thinking capabilities, be detail-oriented, proactive, able to wear multiple hats, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales partnering, strategy & operations for the US Apps & Gaming sector, spanning app promotion, real money gaming, and emerging subverticals
  • Act as the thought partner to senior sales leaders and provide high level strategic direction across the Apps & Gaming portfolio, from scaled performance advertisers through to top-tier strategic accounts
  • Help the business & team prioritize effectively based on the company objectives & influence decision making across sales, product, and regional stakeholders
  • Identify revenue opportunities and translate them into concrete go-to-market levers by conducting rigorous quantitative & qualitative analysis and developing deep business & market understanding, with particular focus on performance product adoption (app install and value-based bidding, measurement and attribution), agency penetration, and share shift from competing platforms; drive cross-functional programs based on the levers identified, track progress and measure impact
  • Own the analytical agenda for real money gaming — a fast-growing and highly regulated subvertical — partnering closely with Legal, Policy, and Product on eligibility, compliance, and go-to-market sequencing
  • Manage business planning & ongoing business reviews: bottom up planning, forecasting, analysis, partnering with leadership teams in maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, revenue attainment tracking etc, accounting for the pronounced seasonality of gaming and sports-driven demand
  • Build and maintain the competitive and market view for the sector: track platform dynamics across competing ad networks and app-install channels, size share shift opportunities, and equip sales with defensible positioning
  • Partner with central teams to define and authoritatively enforce sales & client policies; partner with counterparts in other sales teams and regions to resolve conflicts, all with a positive attitude and a desire to do what is best for the business as a whole
  • Partner with central teams to craft Apps & Gaming specific incentive structures that incentivize specific sales & client behaviors
  • Identify deficiencies in processes & tools, including measurement and attribution workflows, and partner with internal teams to develop and implement solutions; drive the adoption of new solutions, as well as provide ongoing training & documentation
  • Foster cross functional collaboration: Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with critical business partners (e.g. Sales, Product, MarSci, Legal, Finance, Agency Partnerships etc)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of working in a fast-paced environment & similar function (e.g. data analytics & strategy teams in other tech companies; management consulting; investment banking).

- Advanced analytical skills; ability to gather, clean, and structure data for analysis and modeling using SQL and/or programming languages (e.g. Python, R), and BI visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

- Strong problem solving & communication skills; ability to translate data into insights & synthesize findings into narratives to influence leadership decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital advertising is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Results and detail oriented, with strong commercial / business acumen.

How Openbound evaluates sponsorship

Visa history uses official U.S. Department of Labor H-1B LCA disclosure data and USCIS H-1B petition history. Green card history uses DOL PERM disclosure data. Each is read for the employer as a whole, for roles like this one, and for this location, weighted toward the most recent fiscal years.

An employer is matched to its filing entities by verified legal name and reviewed aliases; a match is never made on a name resemblance alone. Where no verified entity can be matched, the page says so and draws no conclusion from the absence. 2,134 filing titles were examined for this employer.

What this posting states outranks history in both directions, and an employer's published policy outranks past filings. Filing history reflects past behavior; it is not a promise of sponsorship for this opening, and none of this is legal advice.
