Energy Market & Business Analysis

• Market Monitoring: Assist in tracking and analysing regional wholesale electricity and natural gas markets, focusing on price drivers, capacity fees, and commodity trends.
• Portfolio Support: Help track and support internal processes of invoicing and data transfers.
• Data Management & Digital Solutions
• Data Processing & Reporting: Clean, structure, and analyse large datasets from energy consumption logs and wholesale price feeds using advanced MS Excel and spreadsheet modelling.
• Reporting Automation: Support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated dashboards (e.g., using Power BI or Tableau) to assist in executive decision-making.
• Digital Transformation: Collaborate on developing automated solutions (using Python, SQL, or workflow scripting tools) to eliminate manual, repetitive reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Business Informatics, IT, Digital Business, or similar.
• Interest in economics, finance, digital solutions and IT-drive business processes.
• Structured and analytical way of working.
• High level of ownership and reliability.
• Very good English skills (German is a plus).
• Strong capabilities in advanced formulas, pivot tables, and structured data analysis.
• Basic exposure to or high willingness to learn data visualization tools (Power BI), database structures (SQL), or data science programming languages (Python).
• Weekly minimum 25 hours.
