Designers bring semiconductors to life by defining, developing and/or modifying digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry. They work with other designers and the broader R&D and demand creation teams to align on approaches and parameters for a given device, creating block level specifications for the designs. They take the designs through the concept, implementation, and validation phases and then into mass production. Designers also conduct tests and analyze data to ensure the chosen methods are optimal for the defined specifications and reliability requirements.

The Advance Power Solutions product line is delivering industry leading power system solutions including PMICs, Camera Flash LED drivers etc. This is a great opportunity to be part of the best custom power semiconductor team in the world.

In the Digital Design role, responsibilities may include:

•    Collaborate with system design to create digital micro-architecture specifications and implement RTL code to realize that design.

•    Work with and provide guidance to digital team members to execute the full digital flow (RTL to Physical layout) implementing all industry best practices.

•    Collaborate with Design Verification, Validation, Product Engineering and Test Engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production

•    Interface and lead discussions with the customer to understand customer designs, problems and support as required

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• 10 years of relevant digital design experience
• A thorough understanding of digital logic design
• Experience with full digital flow, RTL to GDSII. 
• Familiarity with the Verilog language and simulators

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience developing digital for integrated power products.
• Strong technical skills, including expertise with tools, methodologies and automation that drives efficiency and quality.
• Thorough understanding and experience implementing digital interfaces such as I2C, SPI, SPMI. 
• Experience with asynchronous digital circuits and state machines. 
• Experience with System Verilog
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery from the team.
• Ability to collaborate with and provide leadership when working with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role
